Who we are

Nu Generation Esthetics Academy is a TDLR-approved private beauty school located at 3910 Doniphan Dr, Suite D, El Paso, TX 79922. Throughout this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Nu Generation Esthetics Academy. "You" means anyone who visits nugenesthetics.com, calls us, texts us, requests program information, or enrolls as a student.

This policy covers the website nugenesthetics.com and the phone and text messaging we use to communicate with prospective and current students.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your question, schedule your campus tour and enroll you if you decide to attend.

  • Contact information you give us. Your name, mobile phone number, and email address, when you fill out a form on this website, respond to an ad, message us on Instagram or Facebook, or call the academy.
  • Program interest information. Which program you are asking about, when you would like to start, and what you tell us about your schedule and goals.
  • Messages you send us. The content of your text, direct message and email conversations with us, so we have a record of what was discussed and agreed to.
  • Enrollment records, if you enroll. Information required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and by the academy to document clock hours, attendance, coursework and tuition payments.
  • Basic website data. Standard server and analytics information such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate city-level location, browser and device type. This is aggregate traffic data and is not used to identify you personally.

We do not collect Social Security numbers or payment card numbers through this website. Tuition payments are handled directly with the academy.

Text messaging — consent and opt-out

This section describes our SMS program and is the part most people actually want to read.

How you opt in. You give us your mobile number for text messaging by entering it yourself into a form on this website, by texting us first, or by submitting a lead form on one of our ads. When you do, you are consenting to receive text messages from us about the program you asked about.

  • Customer care messages — replies to your questions, campus tour scheduling and reminders, program start dates, enrollment steps, and follow-up about an inquiry you started.
  • Promotional messages — occasional announcements about upcoming cohorts, open house dates and spa day events, only where you have separately agreed to receive them.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or of any purchase. You can request information, take a tour and enroll without ever giving us permission to text you.

What to expect. Message frequency varies based on your conversation with us and where you are in the enrollment process. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out or get help. Reply STOP to any message from us at any time and we will stop texting you. You will get one final confirmation message, and then no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or call the academy directly at (915) 975-7067.

Mobile information sharing — our commitment

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. That information is never shared with any third party.

We do not sell, rent, trade or lease your mobile phone number or your SMS consent to anyone, for any price, under any circumstances.

How we use your information

  • To answer your question about a program, tuition or a start date.
  • To schedule your campus tour and remind you about it.
  • To walk you through enrollment and payment plan options if you decide to attend.
  • To send you promotional messages, but only where you have separately agreed to receive them.
  • To keep the student, attendance and clock-hour records required by TDLR and by tax law.
  • To understand which pages of our website are useful, in aggregate.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers who run our tools. Our customer relationship and messaging platform (LeadConnector / HighLevel), our website host, our curriculum platform, and our telephone carrier. They process data on our behalf, under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
  • The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, for the student, clock-hour and licensing records the State requires us to keep and report.
  • When the law requires it — a subpoena, court order, or a legal obligation we cannot refuse.

To repeat, because it matters: none of the above includes your mobile number or SMS consent for marketing purposes. That data stays with us. We have no affiliate program. We do not buy leads, and we do not sell leads.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. If you arrive here from one of our ads, the ad platform may record that visit so we can measure whether the ad worked. We may use aggregate website and advertising measurement tools to understand traffic and ad performance. These tools do not tell us who you are individually, and we do not use them to build profiles about you.

If you submit a lead form directly on Facebook or Instagram, that form is hosted by Meta and Meta's own privacy policy applies to it in addition to this one. The information you enter is delivered to us and handled under this policy from that point forward.

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly and to measure aggregate traffic. Embedded content such as the Google Maps frame may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.

How long we keep it

We keep student and enrollment records for as long as TDLR and Texas record-keeping and tax requirements demand. Inquiry, text and message conversations are retained in our customer platform so we have a history of what was discussed. If you opt out of texts, we retain a record of that opt-out permanently, because that is how we make sure we do not text you again.

How we protect it

Access to our customer platform is limited to academy staff who need it. The website is served over HTTPS. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not keep the categories of data that create the largest risk.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text to end text messages.
  • Ask us to delete your inquiry record by calling or emailing us, unless we are required to keep it as a student record.
  • Ask us what we have on file for you, and we will tell you.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Applicants under 18 require a parent or guardian for enrollment.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes to our text messaging practices will be described here before they take effect.
